Veterans Traveling To NH To Support Climate Bill

NASHUA, N.H. (AP) ― Military veterans traveling throughout the country are stopping in New Hampshire to talk to community leaders about the dangers of climate change and how they regard it as a threat to national security.

The tour is stopping in Nashua, Manchester and Concord on Friday. It is supported by Operation Free, a coalition of veterans and national security groups working to raise public awareness about climate change and the importance of building a clean energy economy that is not tied to fossil fuels.

Saturday is being recognized internationally as a Day of Climate Action.
