Leave it to the climate hawks at Operation Free to produce the best message yet about the dangerous and unpopular Republican assault against the EPA.
After you watch the video—and trust me, it’s well worth watching—click through to Operation Free’s Oil Addiction Disorder site to learn more about how oil addiction costs lives, how the EPA de-funds terrorism, and how many conservatives are ignoring the military’s warnings. And then take action and sign the petition to let the EPA do its job and help protect America from oil addiction.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: The honorable patriots behind Operation Free are simply the best at explaining why clean energy and climate change matter to all Americans.
Be reminded that corn-ethanol as a reliable energy fuel source is a fallacy and is arguably one of the greatest scams ever perpetrated on American taxpayers — benefiting only crop farmers and ethanol makers. It is a neutal to a minus as a clean energy source. Additionally, the ethanol subsidies have significantly driven up food prices as much as 20 percent. Detractors point out that if whe planted ALL tillable U.S. farmland with nothing but corn and converted ALL of it to corn-ethanol, it would supply only 10-12 percent of all U.S. fuel transportation needs. It’s potential as a reliable energy source is a joke.
