On August 3rd, the Truman Project ran an advertisement in POLITICO that commends the 2025 Corporate Average Fuel Economy (CAFE) standard of 54.5 miles per gallon. The full-page advertisement thanks the Obama Administration for its commitment to reducing America’s dependence on foreign oil and to saving consumers money at the pump.
