This morning, several Operation Free members met with high-ranking Florida state legislators and officials to discuss Florida’s energy policy.  Retired Marine Lt. Gen. John Castellaw, a former chief of staff of Central Command and the current head of the Crockett Policy Institute, had a series of highly productive meetings with legislators including Senate Majority Leader Andy Gardiner (R-Orlando) and officials including Patrick Sheehan, Director of the Florida Office of Energy.

Florida is contemplating increasing its use of renewable sources of energy, which Operation Free wholeheartedly supports.  Lt. Gen Castellaw spoke about the military’s advances in energy diversification and efficiency, commended Florida for its progress, and urged the assembled leaders to take further steps.
