In today’s opinion-filled world, it’s harder than ever for one organization to stand out. TV, radio and the internet are all constantly filled with competing “experts” with contradictory, frequently wrong information. It’s tough to be taken seriously amidst the crowd, but Operation Free has established strong credibility thanks to the tireless work of one particular group: its military veteran members. The veterans working on Operation Free lend this campaign their unique credibility on national security. It’s easy for a Washington politician or pundit to complain that energy security is too expensive in this time of financial shortage, but it’s far more difficult to say that with a straight face to a vet who’s seen the consequences that a lack of energy security can create.
One of the finest traits of America’s military is that its men and women don’t stop serving their country when they come home. Operation Free is proud to stand alongside these vets to make sure the rest of the country knows that energy security isn’t optional.
